The plant is equipped with highly sophisticated tea bag packing, carton packing and pouch packing machines. These modern machines not only ensure faster packaging but also help in retaining the taste and aroma of teas.These machines also offer tremendous flexibility in production.

The plant is well-equipped to produce packages ranging from polypacks of Rs.1 value to 5 kg, jars and cartons as and when the requirement arises. The huge capacity for raw material storage (40 lakh Kgs) coupled with a production capacity of almost 6 lakh packets per day, further strengthens the Wagh Bakri promise. The plant also has a captive power generating capacity for contingencies.

Wagh Bakri recently purchased a tea bag machine from Italy - a huge investment made especially for the benefit of its customers. The machine can make 250 staple-free tea bags a minute and has drastically reduced the production cycle, thus keeping the tea fresher. This state-of-the-art technology also ensures safety. Since the tea bags are meticulously tied with thread, there is no smell of metal and no fear of staples falling into the tea which also makes it possible to put the tea bags in the microwave oven.
